Profile Design Blitz Wetsuit

I broke down and bought a triathlon wetsuit for the races scheduled during the winter months.

I decided on the Profile Design Blitz (pictured on the left). Profile Design partnered up with Aquaman to produce the suit late last year. I liked the construction of the suit, and it was moderately priced at around $270.

I live in Los Angeles, and many of the races I compete in are set during summer months and the water temp is not so low that you need a wetsuit. Up until now I've gone without a wetsuit. Even though the ocean around LA can warm up, I've been very cold a few occasions, and thought that I would be better off with the wetsuit. Plus, given the added buoyancy it may take some time off of my swim. I just got the suit, and have not been able to get into the water yet, but I will be using it this weekend at the Long Beach Triathlon. I'll post my thoughts about the suit after the race.
